Format Forward is created by me, Jonathan Glazier, a TV format creator, producer, consultant and multi-camera director.

Jonathan is a former Head of Format Entertainment at the BBC, where he created and led the BBC Format Factory. His work spans entertainment, reality, quiz, factual entertainment and international format adaptation across the UK, Asia and other markets.

Format Forward exists for the creative developer community: the people who have to turn ideas into formats that can be pitched, cast, produced, repeated and sold.

It is a place for practical format thinking, market interpretation and development craft.
